Lawl. The self-coup was unsuccessful, which is why Trump was impeached and many of his soldiers that day have been punished by the American judicial system. More people in higher places could face charges for it, including Trump. The alternative reality is when you pretend what happened that day doesn't matter because the coup was not successful. It's frankly madness, and indicative of how far gone so many Americans are, even those who are not full-blown Trump cultists.

Can we imagine a world where Goom or void say "Obama attempted to hold onto government after he lost the election, but he didn't succeed, therefore conservatives and Fox News are making too much of it"?
