You should go back and read our conversation because

Russia's economy has been destroyed. I know you aren't dumb enough to think that a >60% drop in manufacturing capacity and purchasing power isn't destroyed by any meaningful definition.

I never said "Russia already lost", in fact I started out this conflict saying that if Russia really mobilized and Ukraine wasn't given aid that they would walk over Ukraine in a few weeks.


I know you really want me to have said certain things, and to be mad, and whatever, but that's not a healthy mindset. You are actively making your life worse by indulging those delusions.

Fact of the matter is that the goal of the sanctions was to completely isolate Russia and it has failed, why do you think everyone in the West is so mad at China, India and other countries that still trade with Russia, lol

Purchasing power doesn't mean much when an authoritarian regime simply tells you what to do, complaining doesn't help.

Ask yourself why sanctions haven't stopped NK, or Iran, Cuba etc

Nobody rational ever expected total isolation. If your standard is that Russia literally could not do trade with anybody on the planet, then yes it's failed. But that's more an issue of you overstating the expected outcome.

Russia has had a massive cut to their manufacturing capacity and has engaged in increasingly desparate attempts to survive on their fossil fuel revenue, which has also been massively cut.

So by any reasonable standard, the sanctions have been very effective.
