Militarily = US
Economically = US
but it's pretty obvious that we're on the decline, meanwhile China is on the upswing. People overestimate China today, there's still a sizeable gap between US at 1 and them at 2, but we're scared because that gap is narrowing at an increased rate.
.
I agree with this. It will still be the USA.
The USA will not be reduced to second rate status but they will have to live with the novel idea that Countries like China is catching up especially in the economy.
That being said it is always the US priority to strike down , destabilize and subjugate those countries.
It already happened to Japan in the 1990s. The EU is somehow catching up with Germany's Merkel leading the lot , and now the Ukraine war.
So China is up next. If they manage to strike China down and if India manage to catch up within the next two decades , it will be India's turn to get smacked down
If the US find it hard to subjugate those countries, they will find a way to create a proxy wars or they have a thousand and one ways with their existing " allies " to exhaust , sanction those economies and prevent them from overtaking.
