Yeah the price of shit is insane. A dozen eggs in some parts of Texas costs more than an hour of minimum wage. That makes no fucking sense.

No time in my lifetime has eggs EVER costed as much as minimum wage where I live. A dozen last year this time were $2.50 here. Now they are about $8. I have never seen that happen by over triple. Not in gas, food or anything else in my lifetime. Nothing has ever jumped that rapidly before here as long as I can remember.

I’m sure there is an excuse for everything honestly. But if eggs were the only issue I could believe it but the fact is a lot of things are increasing at an abnormal rate.

well for 1 all prices are up do due gas.. gas is used to make stuff.
You also have China shutting down in waves until recently.
You have ALL shipping systems behind in hiring and manpower.
You have supply chain issues still.
Now the FED's have raised %
Inflation is not surprising.

They see everything through the prism of money

basically that gives :

"MUUH, Im earning 30 bucks/hour, there is no way I will waste my valuable time to make a dinner or to grow chickens when I can just buy these"

Also would still have to buy chloride etc. Just easier to buy with chloride already inside the chicken b) clever americans
