I disagree. Russia has 100% been using their nuclear threat to deter the West from supporting Ukraine.

It's clearly implied in speeches from Putin, Kadyrov, Medvedev and other Kremlin shills; Its also implied from Russia's actions.

In reality unless Putin goes renegade, the Russia doctrine only allows for a defensive or retaliatory strike. The point is Putin has been intentionally vague on what constitutes a threat to Russia from the West.

The question is not what should the west fo if Putin THREATENS retaliation.

It's what should the wests response be to actual retaliation.
