The wealthiest 400+ billionaire families in America paid 3.4% income tax but obviously they’d like it to be 0.

So by your logic then if the poor pay most of the tax why are you screaming against the idea of no tax? Or do you want the poor and middle class to continue forever to be slaves? Because you know damn well that at no point in history did the wealthy pay majority of the taxes even under communism there were elite ultra wealthy people who applied some are more equal then others formula.

The middle class pays the majority of the taxes in America. Considering that productivity is rapidly increasing as time goes on, we should be distributing that value back into society. I guess you’re ok with people being expected to work more, produce more, get paid the same, and then have all their costs go up? 🤡

We don't pay our bills today! No one is going to replace trillions in revenue with a national sales tax, and even if they were, they couldn't enforce it without the IRS! No, we're going to see how far down the money printing rabbit hole a rich nation can go.

It's a tricky thing to understand, and people mess it up all the time, but that's not at all what's happening. You are producing more (mostly!) as a result of invested capital and technological progress, not because the value of your labor has gone up. And you're not working more, you're working a lot less! The number of hours Americans work per week has gone down, not up. And with respect to federal income tax at least, the middle class certainly doesn't shoulder a majority of the burden. The rich are paying, because that's where the income is and we live in a country with progressive tax brackets.
