unreal

good for her to get out, but does the dipshit biden administration even think about the consequences of a high profile, international criminal being free again?

terrible exchange

how/why wouldnt he possibly "bother us in the future"?

im failing to understand why a 1for1 is acceptable given the huge difference in the severity of the crimes committed. i wonder what i would have to do to earn the title of merchant of death. (actually, id rather not)

He's not a leader or a zealot or a terrorist or a martyr. He was an arms dealer who operated outside the public eye and won't be able to resume arms dealing. Geopolitically, it does zero harm to us to have him out of prison. What difference does it make to us if he retires to the countryside of Russia and lives quietly? This contrasts to high profile prisoner swaps like in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where Hamas leaders might be out organizing new attacks the next month.

Honestly in terms of our geopolitical interests, the deal only really negatively impacts our image and standing. If the takeaway is that Joe Biden is an ineffectual leader who can be bullied and will blink whenever Putin stares him down and push comes to shove, then lmao message was already sent loud and clear so I'm not sure we can botch it any worse than it already is. So Biden looks weaker on a world stage after this, so what, at least in actual outcomes its probably a net positive

the whole living quietly in the countryside thing just sounds like a big assumption to me.

arms dealers operate under anonymity. an internationally extradited and found guilty person can't effectively do it. it's like R Kelly walking into a high school volleyball game.

international arms deals avoid anyone who has heat on them. they're moving arms and vehicles and equipment to internationally condemned rebel and terrorist groups. and there's plenty of arms dealers without heat on them to work with, so why bother working with a guy who's already rotted in prison for it, who has his passport flagged any time he moves, who's fingerprints are in the system, etc.

Anyone who thinks this was even close to a fair swap is suffering severe brain damage and should probably head to the ER immediately.

I'm sure a pot-smoking WNBA player who only SJW's give a shit about can do so much for our country! Forget the real POW's who Biden neglected despite saying, "We tried".

As for those who also think an International Arms Dealer can't do shit from prison in Russia you are sadly mistaken. He now has access not only to his people but is closer to his assets as well.

#BidenISaCUCK

# If you bring cannabis on a plane to a country that it's illegal you should serve out every day for being retarded.

He's not going to prison in Russia, he has no people and no assets and his wikipedia page won't have any entries after this point for us to worry about.
And there is of course the supreme hypocrisy that the 'crime' he committed is the mirror to what we've been doing in Ukraine for the past year.

Serious question though

Do you really believe everything you see on the internet?

The guy has people who WORKED/WORK for him still moving arms/drugs/people but because Wikipedia says he has no assets that's your golden goose?

edit: Did you get the data dump from Julian Assange? This guy is mentioned by name working as an intelligence OP. He was helping facilitate arms trades with China and Zimbabwe of all countries lmao
