Generally I'd say players yes (moreso now that the population has greatly declined since launch), botters - especially those that actually code beyond scripting (and seem to barely play the game) - no. I think the reason for that is that tech workers tend to be very sure that being a diehard leftist is the way in life (i.e. "trust the hecking science, you fascist cheetoman-loving bigot!"), despite how easily politics can polarize someone's views from either side of various issues. As the adage goes, politics makes strange bedfellows. It's easier to look past such instances with varying degrees of cognitive dissonance for some than others. An abstract note on this topic I'll make is that I find true moderates that wholeheartedly try not to assume the unknowable are rare in all walks of life. They're often passionately silenced/coerced/blackmailed by both sides in an attempt to force them one way or the other. I like to think there are those dumb enough to not care too much and those smart enough to not care too much, since it all comes down to relative interests if you care about all people equally regardless of de facto dichotomies.
