This is less true when the change in behavior is due to a perceived prohibition or obstacle to being able

That isn't happening universally. The laws limiting or banning abortion are only in republican controlled states.

I'm aware. The portion of the study/poll you are focusing on is predicated specifically and entirely on changes in behavior due to the federal abortion ruling.

What's wrong with casual sex?

Well, if you sleep with a lot of multiple partners and you are not careful with it , you might catch STDs and spread them unknowingly?
If you are responsible and use protection then perhaps that is ok ?
But it seems like people dont really like to use protection ?
Not sure about the statistics in the states on whether people like use protection or not.

Do you have some unrealistic fear of STDs? The worst thing that is likely to happen is you go to the doctor and take medication for it and have to tell future sexual partners in the future. Which obviously could be a big problem if it's one of a few specific STDs.

As people get older they end up having to take medications for all sorts of health problems.

People shouldn't be unknowingly spreading STDs, there's clinics that test for them all over the country.

Well if it is HIV, it would really be bad...
Others , I am sure there are treatment for it.
As for HSV-1 or 2 ( Herpes )
I think maybe 1 or 2 billion people in the world has it .

Just read a report from WHO in 2015 regarding Herpes stating that 3.7 billion people in the world have it ( estimation )

Herpes is certainly a problematic condition and I'm personally glad that I do not have it.

HIV is managed with medication now and the sexual partner can take medication that if used correctly should prevent them from getting it from their HIV positive partner.

HIV cases are also declining in the US.

Also  I don't think abortion laws are going to really do much to stop the spread of HIV as the majority of new cases in the US are homosexual men.

I don't know if you've heard, but gay men don't really have abortions.

Yes I know , But I am talking about women getting it and mother to child transmission , of course medical advances have improve by leaps and bounds and that can be prevented.

HIV is still a stigma in the area that I live in so... yup..
