What’s your solution to ending gun violence in the United States and how would you apply it?

I wouldn't go asking Nazi-adjacent people like him about their "solutions" to anything.

One would say, get rid of extreme liberalism, invest in education, ban guns. but oh well, freedom to have a gun > innocents dead. gotcha america.

Maybe you haven’t noticed the second part of the question. How would you apply it?

Saying you want to ban guns is one thing, saying how you’d do it is another. Surely you don’t thing nationwide gun confiscation is an easy endeavour for underfunded police forces, especially when most weapons used in crimes aren’t registered and police officers are overwhelmingly pro-gun and pro-not-getting-shot-in-the-face when they ring a doorbell.

ah yes, the tired old "it's simply not doable, and if you don't have the perfect solution which reliably prevents all gun deaths immediately, it's not even worth trying to change anything" argument, that hasn't been made a million times before by brainwashed NRA drones, completely ignoring how every promising effort of common sense gun legislation was violently opposed by special interest groups...

Gun deaths in the United States have remained somewhat stable through the 70’s all the way to 2004 and all the way up to now. I don’t get the second picture, it it supposed to complement the first one? If so that’s way wrong as mass shootings are fraction of gun homicides (~500 / 20,000). Legislation aimed at 2.5% of a problem isn’t effective, it’s just there for show and pretend you attack the problem.
