Extremely muscular neck and jaws morphology does not help it. Says long about the selection.
It's also a big business and you will find alot of websites claiming these dogs are "no more agressive than others" etc...
Fuck it, these dogs are horrible and their owners are stupid. And these white bulls...

I have a Golden and you couldn't ask for a better dog. My problem isn't with pitbulls though. For me, it's the wofly dogs (Shepherds, Malamutes, etc.) Those dogs are feral and shouldn't be allowed unless you know how to train them. Every dog that has fought mine is some aggressive German Shepherd who was a good boy didn't do nuffin.

I looked into this, america has 16 dog related fatalities a year, there is 18 million pitbull breed dogs in america, half of the dogs people think are pitbulls have zero pitbull dna.
So roughly 10 people a year killed by 18 million pitbulls in a country with a 250 million + population..
More chance of a tree falling on you and people still go on about what a dangerous breed it is.
America averages 64 fatties a year squashed trying to get free shit from vending machines..

Every big dog has a potential to kill. Targeting pit bulls is just a soy knee-jerk reaction. They make excellent guard dogs, just their intimidating looks is enough to deter most would be criminals. They are athletic and generally low maintenance dogs fantastic for the farm. Unfortunately many have shitty owners with no rules or limitations and it reflects in the dog. A breed should come with a warning label and the breeder should be willing to turn away would be owners if they didn't think they were incompatible.

The % of dog related fatalities is so small it's not even worth taking about. Yes there will always be wild unpredictable side to certain dogs but it's not a reason to ban it.

Stop targeting pit bulls. I don't see a single post about a german sherpard or rotweiler being mentioned

also before anyone says "Its a mix thats why", the rest is german shepherd and amstaff. So the other breeds people are bitching about in this thread.
