Face it, nobody wants to even hint that basically every move the left is making makes things worse in the US. Every policy they place favors one group over another. Everything they say demonizes certain groups. Their goal is to divide and conquer the nation.

What's dangerous about the modern left isn't the shoddy retread of race essentialism. It's the rejection of relativism and adoption of moral absolutism that makes "killing people who disagree with me" a natural and morally consistent life philosophy. On the other hand, what's dangerous about the far-right is that they've embarked down an entirely different path, one where large tracks have completely lost track of reality, preferring to live in a make believe world where Donald Trump is a stable genius playing 5d chess by intentionally losing (or not losing) the 2020 election.
