Every bomb dropped in 1940's was indiscriminate. They were also not targeting civilians directly.
Where do you think the factories were in Nazi Germany? In the countryside?

to any reasonable person, this really shouldn't be a complicated issue. the allies committed war crimes. that's a fact. i'm positive the ukrainians did as well. that said, they pale in comparison to nazi and russian war crimes, and those parties started the wars in the first place. suggesting they are somehow equally guilty is just dumb hackery. 20 and 2,000 are not the same, just because they are both numbers...

Why?

Deliberately attempting to cause a firestorm is about as indiscriminate as it gets, it's not really even possible to attempt mitigating civilian casualties. Hiroshima was known to be a non-military target.

How are they NOT war crimes? Under what logic? Aiming at factories is one thing. Aiming at the city is another.
