What teacher below doctorate level in a university setting is making 6 figures?

ranges from roughly $60,000 to $123,500 annually for 7.5-hour workdays (37.5-hour workweeks) and a shorter working year than people in the private sector typically endure
only 40% of the teachers in the state make that, likely in Seattle and Portland where most of the population lives and cost of living is at or near nationwide high.
in any case the 7.5 hours per day figure is hogwash, any teachers doing that are doing a terrible job. teaching is far more than a 40hr/week job if done even moderately right.
in any case given nationwide shortages schools have little choice, pay more or continue down the road of massive turnover and closing sectors of programs.
