so to "prove" that you have a job listing from the IRS site that just shows the jobs in the dept?

I think the news was the fact that they are saying normal people will not be affected at all by this, but they are adding tens of thousands of agents. They are making it seem like they are just going to help get your taxes done quicker, maybe, but at the same time saying only rich people will be audited more, which is an obvious lie.

Word on the street is that IRS computers are still from the 90's. Hopefully the bill fixes their offices too.



This can be interpreted in several different ways. Top earners already pay like 80% of the total amount of income taxes right now.

The important detail I'd look for here is the rate of actual tax fraud from each income bracket.
