Are you thinking it was planned by these two democrats like when trump (republican) planned to overthrow the lawfully elected government via his deranged supporters ? i think he might have said something about hanging people ? did they also go on twitter etc and suggest this, encourage this attack ?

As a great figure once said "dunno, two guys, alone, in the woods, seems kinda gay".

I would, briefly, state that some high profile politicians have a wide supporter base, not all of which are intelligent, compassionate, moderate or well meaning. if you want ppl to resign because of their supporters it would not take long before you have no politicians left.

The real tragedy is how Hochul won every single county in the primary. I know a ton of people in New York. Nobody likes their unelected governor. What else to do but elect her…

I would assume that this is the TDS abbreviation you are referring to, in which case I would briefly comment that Trump was 100% right re: Europe's utter failure at meeting its minimum required defense spending of 2%. I also agreed with several of his foreign policies. And I would also say he was far more honest then either the democrat or republican party. If you dont like criticism of any body then your in trouble, as all bodies referenced here have fundamental positives, and negatives. blind faith should have no home in a political discussion.

Yes I am using TDS in the way you are assuming. I also just laugh at people who cant have a political discussion without comparison to a former president in which the current topic has nothing to do with. But carry on my friend.

1. The OP outlined a scenario, where follower(s) of a political entity misbehaved (the lightest expression available) and attacked a political figure.
2. I outlined that this is not something new in politics and provided a recent example (Trump, capital hill riots).

Ultimately one should acknowledge (well I do anyway) that America is split in two, with democrats on one side (i would put bernie in here) and republicans on the other. An attack on capital hill, and to be clear thats what it was, where large numbers of politicians were endangered is relevant to this topic. I dont agree with your position that its not relevant.
