Would oppose it100%.

I would also like to discuss the Women’s Health Protection Act 2021-2022. Again this topic is not about Roe.

What is there to discuss? You oppose each 100%, no?

This topic is about the Women’s Health Protection Act 2021-2022, I would like to see how this bill, in it’s current language can be defended.

It is unlikely to be defensible in your eyes, because if it is worse than Roe, and you oppose Roe 100%, then you'll oppose this 100%.

It seems to me like this is not materially different than the same debate as to whether people simply support or oppose abortion, no?

I pmed you very nicely asking you not to derail my topic two or three posts ago. I am done responding to you.

My feelings are not changing no matter what pro abortion individuals say. I want to understand why this bill is defensible by people who choose to defend it.

Seem like the type of person that doesn't know the difference between survival and living.

Here's the FULL text...

See #2.

#2 is no longer true. This is an OLD bill. It was first introduced in June 2021.
In other words... there's nothing in the Constitution, there is no "Constitutional Right" to terminate a pregnancy.

This is what the Supreme Court... just ruled a couple weeks ago.

This bill is now dead, as per the Supreme Court.

Without turning this topic towards me, I am openly inviting anybody to honestly defend this bill. This is 100% in good faith I am not looking to badmouth anybody, I simply would like to see the opposition.

One thought is that the government should not have the power to force people into, or to maintain, positions of their own body. As such, irrespective of fetal development, people should have the right to safe, accessible abortion.

Fully legal abortion until fetal viability is within the confines of Roe. After fetal viability, it should be done on a case by case basis where we weigh the health/life of the mother, the health/life of the fetus, and the interests of the state.

I do not support this bill because I'm against abortion except in a few rare cases (ectopic pregnancies, etc.)
