Is this a good or bad thing?
So...does this mean you think my idea is good?
Depends on what you think of Marjorie Taylor Green, I suppose.
Of course the idea is good. As it currently stands, there are so many millions of words of laws and regulations that the odds are you cannot survive a single day without being in violation of at least a handful. The overwhelming majority of them have no reasoning attached, nor do we know who voted to put them into place. The complete lack of transparency in government is antithetical to the ideal of "By the People, For the People" that our system of government was established on.

Baby's first run in with anti money laundering laws.
Money laundering laws are kind of interesting though, aren't they? Who is the government to tell you how you make your money, or what you spend it on? It's yours, you have a right to your own property. If you commit a crime to gain your money, by all means, charge you for that crime. But being put on a list because you're spending money on something perfectly legal to purchase? Reminds me of the prepper that was charged with a federal felony for having too many masks and gloves, and too much water and toilet paper. Didn't matter that they'd been stockpiling that shit for a decade "just in case".
Your post highlights very well why the "Drug War" will never go away. The "Drug War" is the #1 case for why the Federal Government can or should be able to pry into your personal affairs without due process. Yet another product of authoritarians and socialists who hate their neighbors and want any excuse to take all their shit and throw them in a cage.
