Racism, environmentalism, a mix of them, yes novel and unpopular issues no one is covering in this day and age. My problem isn't that he's talking about them. Yeah people should condemn racism, pollution, etc but that's literally the mainstream perspective nowadays. Is there a deficit of people talking about these things today? People like him pile on when it's the safe and popular point of view and they are 'safe' for having these opinions. The equivalent of the white person on Facebook highlighting how not racist they are fully knowing they will get showered with likes from like-minded whites. So cringe.
I mean, if you want to boil this specific issue down to "racism/environmentalism" that's fine. I think that's pretty lazy though because I'd argue that MOST people don't know about this type of systemic racism. White culture dictates that racism was solved once Obama was elected and it took George Floyd dying just to understand that systemic racism still exists.
What topics do you think he should cover that aren't "mainstream" in your opinion?
