No, because I live in NY in a very overbearing county, too much hoop jumping to get a pistol permit.
Looking to move down south in the next year or two and probably get a glock 17/19 just to have. Always wanted an AR type rifle also, probably get one of those down the line.

I love my M&P M2.0 9mm. It is sexy and one of the best handguns on the market imo.

Only downside is conceal carrying it since it is a little larger.

You can try your best to find the safest neighborhood to go live in, but there is always the possibility that a home-invader might decide to break into your house. Bad people are everywhere. There are just fewer of them in safer neighborhoods but they aren't non-existent.
