i'm not a fan of abortions. in an ideal world there is no need for them. we should do everything to educate and enable people to make decisions that result in fewer abortions - which, btw, is something the US deliberately does NOT do: specifically the people who try to also outlaw abortions are strong opponents of comprehensive sex ed and affordable health care.
that said, our laws should NOT restrict women's bodily autonomy. merely calling abortions "baby murder" is brainless appeal to emotion that ignores the complicated nature of the issue. in reality, the motive to just "snuff out a human's life" simply is not a thing in 99.9999999% of abortions.
