The service card I've got for my province is a real physical thing. It's plastic, though it has a strip on it.



Some people are actually against the social insurance number.

It has a RFID chip in it, and a barcode which when scanned is verified against an online digital database. I can make a physical card with my JSP name and PW but that does not mean my JSP account is a physical thing.
