In light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, I think it's interesting to look back at America's recent military operations.
Invasion of Afghanistan:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_invasion_of_Afghanistan - 13 deaths, 8,000~12,000 kills, Kabul captured, ~2 months
Invasion of Iraq:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_invasion_of_Iraq - 196 deaths, 7,600~45,000 kills, entire country captured, 1 month
Of course, the US suffered more casualties in protracted wars against insurgents from both countries during occupations.
Ah, another one:
Kosovo War:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo_War - 2 deaths, 1,008~1,200 kills
Compare that to Russia: thousands dead in its
invasion phase, indiscriminate bombing of Ukrainian cities including civilian targets using dumb bombs and artillery, and defeated at Kiev.
In a neighboring country vs US moving its troops halfway around the world.
So, this is what the mighty Russia can do. The second most powerful military in the world.
The US is using hacks man. America be hackzor.
