Lollll I think he’s referring to second life which is like 20 years old. It got serious for a minute. Some people dumped into e-real estate and music. I was referring to the meta verse wunderland not Facebook being called meta.

FB is decent for keeping in touch with a lot of people/family members imo. Don't have tik-tok but the general trend of young people spending tons of hours on these platforms is not good.

for sure i mean we have seen the effects of years of mindless information being consumed on a platform like facebook it basically caused an insurrection so like ya no good

The people that went to DC were a bunch of middle aged people mostly. What i'm talking about is the under 30 crowd. Social media has become cancerous to society imo. There was a time when kids would go outside and play, they would read books, they would explore, etc. Now kids spend hours scrolling mindlessly on social media...

I was referring to the FB rebrand as Meta. Never used Second Life, although I know people who did.
