but even on quantity, ive done some math. if the virus has lets say 1% mortality, if everyone on the planet got it, that would be 1% of the planet dead. mathematically 1% people died and 100% got it is the same total amount of life lost as a virus that kills 100% people if 1% got it. so if the virus was 100% deadly and 1% got it, a person would have 1% chance to just randomly die, meaning 1% chance to cut his life by 100%, which is mathematically the same as 100% chance to cut his life by 1%. so if the average life expectancy is 72.5 years and average age is 29.5 years, 100% = 43 years lost. and since a person would have 1% of that, basically thats 100% chance of 0.43 years lost. thats about 5~6 months if everyone in the world got corona

so if we were in full lockdown for 6 months or less, that would make sense if the virus would be completely gone after it. but its not going to be gone and lockdowns have been longer than that in total already so fuck all this shit because mathematically, even if the lockdown worked 100%, it would still not be worth it

/e: on topic: in my country a procedure is done for free if 1) its necessary (for example if you have diabetes, you get treatment for free because otherwise you die) and 2) if there is no cheaper solution (for example you arent getting an mri if it can be done with an ultrasound). starting with that as a system, the answer would be no because if you say its not a mental issue, #1 fails because then its not necessary, and if you admit its a mental issue, #2 fails because you will probably get psychiatric treatment instead of surgery

I mean, aside from that operations don't change one's chromosomes, there is also the fact that one cannot change things like one's stature, skeletal structure, the width of one's shoulders..etc. So the end result is that even post-op, a male-to-female tranny still looks like a linebacker.
