Is it possible to become a billionaire without doing any of the following:
exploit workers, abuse workers, partake in slave labor, overcharge customers, skirt taxes, utilize unsafe practices, buy out or force out others in related areas

thought about this when reading about the proposal to have minimum 20% tax on billionaires, so that tax loopholes couldn't be exploited such that men like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk effectively pay 0 dollars

what's unethical about what you listed?

I'm not sure it's clear what you think is unethical about companies buying one another.

You might want to take a step back and define for us what you think it means to be ethical.

Any transaction can be unethical if it involves coercion, deception, fraud, or illegal means. Even if none of these are in play, it could be an ethical question if non-owner stakeholders such as workers, communities, suppliers and customers are being trampled on in an aggressive merger and acquisition.

Ask yourself this. Is there a way to produce and create development on the scale that the so called billionaires provide. Iphones to electric cars to being able to defend vs communist china with advanced weapon systems?

Take away billionares and everyone goes back to churning butter and working the land with a plow and a pair of oxen.

how about this question? Is it possible to have all common workers who don't steal, be on time, don't get sick, works without creating drama and friction such as sex scandals, or who are going to pay said taxes on their own without automatic deduction?

What would Amazon do if Jeff Bezos dropped dead of a heart attack this instant? I’m confident that they would be able to operate.

In fact Jeff Bezos is pretty much a passive observer of Amazon at this point.

You are reflecting on a pipeline that has been established and saying how is Jeff Bezos is relevant? Its a business that runs in perpetuity. Why should a music or a film producer/directors get paid every time someone watches their productions? you lay the pipe which takes time great effort, risk, investment and ingenuity to establish and then you reap the rewards because the people who are still carrying buckets of water from the river never bothered setting up a long term system in place.

You should try it yourself. Very rewarding setting up a turnkey business that operates without you having to put in much constant effort. Or you can go back to being a transactional peasant trade your time for money your choice

amazon as a corporation is far beyond the point, where they need this one guy to hold it together

i wouldnt underestimate how he still pulls the strings behind the scenes, but they would be fine in any event

You said if we took away the billionaire we’d go back to churning butter, your point is alluding to devolution in the absence of their presence which one could assume includes established development. Alright lets assume that you only meant taking away the billionaires would halt progress from happening. First I’ll give you a chance to clarify this point before continuing.

You are confusing billionaires with byproduct.
Being a billionaire is usually a by product of providing mass good. Not always and sometimes it is necessary evil too.

Billionaires are simply creation of our reward/puninshment system. Every communist ideal from National government to hippy communes/Jewish Kibutz all fail financially. Because the incentive to innovate and grow doesn't come from brotherly love and altruistic benevolence. It comes from big fat paychecks. You take away said riches and society devolves into feudalism.

You take away billionaires or the means of becoming one what do you have left? cap wealth at $1m then no one is going to bother trying to do anything beyond that.

Also no one will agree to that. Your entire premise is flawed our socialist schooling system has implanted many deep fallacies.
Drop the idea or the blame of billionaires as a cure for world problems. Because greed will exist as a species we are still not evolved enough. Work on you.
