I'm just curious. Let me ask you a couple questions. You can argue with me, since I don't come here as often as you guys.

If we passed each other on the street, and I called you an idiot, and you immediately physically attack me for that, which one of us is in the wrong?

Would you ignore it, knowing you have thick skin, or would you actually use that language as justification for battery?

I've been told that specific language incites violence, but it sounds like a lack of emotional intelligence to me.

In your hypothetical scenario, in choosing the n-word specifically, you're acknowledging the acceptance of its severity and history versus that of calling them an idiot.
