Then I read that, and suddenly it seemed less like a sketchy claim and more like holy shit there really is nazi wannabes in Ukraine. The former deputy prosecutor of Ukraine, live on BBC, saying he's upset because "European people with blonde hair and blue eyes being killed every day by Putin's missiles..."

What? Seriously? You actually went on tv and specified blonde hair and blue eyes? Ok now I'm leaning towards believing Putin entirely, which is a long looooooooong way away from where I was leaning.


There are a lot of far right nationalist militia in Ukraine, that & ongoing territorial disputes were big reasons for not considering Ukraine as a NATO member. A concern about these groups when Russia is also full of them & when the leader of the actual government is a liberal jew makes the claims a bit more difficult to buy, especially with how it is clearly coordinated russian propoganda/talking point to justify an offensive war.
