The government should force Spotify to put the pods back.

What books did the American right prevent Amazon from selling? Which publishing houses did they burn down? Are they torching phones now, too? What's usually trotted out is some irrelevant local news feed of random high school A in the middle of nowhere debating whether or not to include Beloved in the curriculum, or allow trans porn in school libraries. No one cares. They care about their schools being open, and having merit based programs available for their kids.

The left got a taste of the good stuff in 2020 and just can't quit. It's a problem for them, because most people don't look at a weed addict and martial arts enthusiast and see the Devil himself. The circular firing squad has gotten bad enough that Jon Stewart is the one left sounding the alarm and Bill Maher has fled his post. The overreach has been extreme, people are well aware that this Emperor has no clothes.

Surely you're smart enough to see the difference between private companies no longer hosting material they find objectionable and agents of the government censoring material they find objectionable.

When the Press Secretary is openly pressuring Spotify to drop a stand-up comedian the President doesn't like (for political reasons), I'm not sure that's the case. But it's not relevant. What Americans recognize is that Democratic politicians, as well as aligned-media and interest groups are the ones pressuring public companies to ban people they don't like. They're the ones pressuring companies to fire employees with divergent political views, or censor books which criticize left-wing political causes. That's who the Democratic party is to your average voter, it's not surprising to me at all that Biden's approval rating just dropped into the 30s, or that the Republicans have the largest generic congressional ballot lead in years.

Saying tech companies should do more to combat misinformation is fine and a reasonable statement anyone should agree with.

Biden did what we needed him to do, which was get a lot more votes than Donald Trump.
