Chicago is a prime example of capitalism and racial ghettoization leading to violence. Cops can’t fix it. They didn’t fix it before. They can’t fix it in the future, either. Economic and racial justice via revolution is the only thing that can. There need to be more guns on the streets of Chicago. And instead of fighting each other, they need to be organized to fight the State and the cops as a united revolutionary front.

You can't defund the police without first spending the money to improve the schools and social services in these areas ofc it should be and end goal when crime has fallen significantly not a starting point. Obvious to most.

I support redirecting police budgets to reduce officers and add social workers, mental health experts, etc. etc.
