It's good for west countries and related emerging ones (like brazil) because it prepared the population in case of a really deadly major pandemic. Avian Flu being a true incoming terror.

I have observed this pandemic, wouldn't call it research I have no credentials nor am I documenting anything, just "Researching" for personal interest. I do not believe there is an argument whether or not there "is" a pandemic. It is a globally official and recognized situation. On any level other than personal ideals, the pandemic is a real official thing that is happening. Consider touching up on the definition of the pandemic we are in. You may be referring to us not needing to be in a state of a pandemic? Or that you think the state of a pandemic is inappropriate therefore you disagree. But the ones who make the official rules, whether we like them or not, say the world is in a pandemic. Up to you to agree or disagree, this is my opinion.





I think there are both situations. There will never not be someone trying to make moves in the "game" and use any situation for political advantage, but on the other side of the coin, absolutely there are people who are as far as you can be away from politics, who are genuinely studying human behavior, societal behaviors, effects of the disease on body animals, etc, without a hint of political motivation.

I belive both exist.
