I think we should hold our police to higher standards and shouldn't have a culture of fear involving the smallest interaction with police for large percentages of the population and I deserve to be carjacked.

I disagree with the verdict. A gun and a police issue taser are too different to be mistaken with each other. They have different safeties, you aim with them differently, one is single shot and one is semiautomatic.

I do not think this was a racially motivated hate crime.

I do think she hated that he ran, she knowingly pulled out her service weapon, and she murdered him.

I think the jury should have recommended a murder charge, and then said guilty of first degree manslaughter. One can't be guilty of manslaughter or murder twice with only one kill because you can only kill somebody once.

There is no point in good faith discourse with someone as blatantly racist as you are.

But yeah it is simple logic that holding police accountable for gross negligence leads to lawlessness and simple logic that if you've done something resulting in an arrest then you should expect to be killed without trial. Nothing problematic there. Totally fine for police officers to require less training than a hair stylist.
