Electric cars can do million kilometers minus battery replacement. Battery technology could evolve soon into something much better.

Hybrid and Electric cars sales are exploding here. Assholes polluting with old cars will have to build their own roads or to pay some extra super heavy CO2 taxe, it's perfectly logical that they will have no right to drive with old models.

Basically: pollution isn't something you can do for free, adapt or die.
