Apparently, this kid tried to take a police officer's gun a couple weeks ago (on school property) and only got suspended. During his suspension, he wrote in blood on the school walls saying he was going to do a mass shooting (while also skinning a deer carcass on school property).


Given the above facts, should the school/police be liable here? It seems that with so many red flags and little action, the blame falls on the school/law enforcement for doing a piss-poor job.

EDIT: They are now saying that the deer incident is unrelated to this one so scratch that out.

Red flag laws are unconstitutional, hence they are invalid and not legally enforceable.
