He had the right to be left alone. There was no crime there it wasn't a citizen's arrest, rather an attempted kidnapping at gun point.
You see to have a lot of faith in systems, surrendering to kidnappers knowing someone will come save you. There aren't people out there to save black Americans though. Their parents have to give them a talk about how police are dangerous etc.
I think the biggest thing for me is that there were 3 of them and 1 of him.
If they wanted to detain or brawl him into submission they could have.
It was obvious he had no weapon, as they had been watching and following him for quite some time.
He was already gassed
