Yes, most of my symptoms are gone save for a lagging cough and loss of smell and taste. This is really lame being trapped in this place with all my top shelf hooch unable to enjoy any of it.

Anyone have any good instrumental recommendations? Classical and jazz, mainly, but I have heard some good post rock and electronic stuff too.

Cesar Cui for classical

MONO has decent post rock

I cant get into jazz personally

The smell and taste will come back. Those sections of the brain are more plastic than the others and grow back readily.

Will check these out, never heard of Cesar Cui so that'll be fun.


EDIT -- Certain intense smells I can smell for a second, so I'm sure I'm not too far off of it coming back. What an annoying disease this is though lol

There's alot of depressions because of the loss or alteration of smell and/or taste.
And this is understandable, first week(s) it probably ok, but after 6 months things are certainly different.
Btw i'm not sure it's worse than others potential effects, not really detectable immediately, lke the ones on cardiovascular system etc.
Like you don't see it but life expectancy is getting lowered by a year or so. Really this is still a bit unknown territory.

I'd rather not catching that shit yet.
