Did you not watch football or any sporting events growing up? It was on all American channels, especially during sporting events that would be watched by men.

Heels were created for men, not women. Makeup powders and such were created for men, not women. Wigs were created for men, not women.

The greatest portion of history (outside of China) saw men as the peacocks, with women's primary "attractiveness" accessory being perfume to smell "nice".

I don't believe there's any "natural state" where men are gross and women are impeccable. I believe that's always been a societal construct. Women are every bit as big of lazy slobs as men, every bit as prone to being filthy unkempt trash.

The only thing I really see regarding women going "butch" outside the "easier to maintain" factor is that if they present themselves as men, many men may be less attracted to them, so it can cut down on the flirting (perhaps).

Eh idk about this. The vast majority of butch lesbians i've ever seen have been pretty unattractive regardless of the man-like attributes they sported. It's like if you are an attractive woman you remain feminine regardless of sexual preference but if you're an unattractive lesbian you might as well go butch and not even try to be pretty.

Nah, I've seen petite, perky, super hot little things go butch. They remain exactly as they were, just dirtier, without the fashion sense, sporting an unappealing haircuts, and talk about empowerment.

I always thought this particular discussion was pretty stupid, tbh. The idea that a person can spend 4 hours a day primping and preening and making themselves pretty is alien to me. Those people seem rather empowered to magically be able to waste that much time.

Seems to me, the idea of behaving like a man who has shit to do is rather de-empowering. When you don't have time for the niceties, merely to get shit done, you're never going to be pretty. Willfully grabbing that roll doesn't' scream empowered, it screams stupid.
