I'm not really sure what the issue is here.

More carbon dioxide emission has occurred since 1980 than 1800-1980. What we did emit en masse prior to 1980 was a disproportional amount of sulfur dioxide, which has a substantial cooling effect. It makes perfect sense why people thought the climate would cool. You know what happened, though? We've since decreased sulfur dioxide emissions by 95% and increased carbon dioxide emissions. Now the earth is warming.

and there is lefty science (subjective) feelings, agenda
