Well the idea of communism is like cocaine being given out on the streets once hooked the sunk cost fallacy kicks in. Especially for the asian counterparts where face saving is a big deal in those cultures. Once the hook is snagged that's it a gradual unfolding of a monster begins to emerge.

Capitalism isn't immune to this either because driving forces will twist the laws and the founding principles no matter how perfect on paper they might seem.
The human factor is what really needs to be addressed and that is a slow and arduous process that can take thousands of years and it has. Too many PARDians are fixated on the polarizing sides and policies but the truth of the matter remains largely untouched.
