Here we go again. Why dont communist idealists identify the main reason for the failure and their lame excuses for their utopia. Anyone with common sense and streetsmarts will quickly point out that it all hinges on complete pure and incorruptible benevolent human beings for that to work. If I was to design a political system it would be very closely resemble constitutional Republic with constitution being iron clad. Removal of federal reserve and replacing it with something like and open transparent without usuary

Well apart from ubi/negative income tax sounds good to me also I would hike the say +$2m businesses with a 30% for income including debt generated income. I believe the numbers should be flexible for the system to be fleshed out. Remember productivity is rewarded justly and social safety nets are truly for those in need. I see too many abusing loopholes in the social benefit department.

The only way that can work is if most people on UBI have very minimal consumption power (plant based diet, rolling blackout, you own no car and are happy, you rent and share everything in massive automated cities with everything controlled & surveilled). It will either be a system like this or the road to serfdom we currently live in, all the hard assets will be owned by a few and our life will be very simple : consume, work , entertainment & sleep. This system is great because a lot of people are happy to serf but there's third world countries that want a part of our abundance, with massive automation and the upcoming energy technology (nuclear fusion looks amazing) everyone could have access to massive energy at a very low cost. Affordable energy is the base for an abundance civilization, that's exactly why china is on fire. I wonder why the west is destroying all the bridges to cheap energy. It's almost as if this is part of a plan B)

Some people will greatly strive in this high skill society like you're saying but the average joe would be left behind, they might have very good neurological stimulus or implants that will work great by then, technology is advancing really fast it's already available just not mass produced yet.

The human nature is greedy, we're avid for power. I had a hard time swallowing the pill from the previous 18 months, it sucks that it result in so much suffering all over the world but if their plan works it will be a future of abundance and deflation for me and the next generations. This is great news if you're curious and intelligent, I can see both cryptocurrencies and blockchain being huge game changers in that new industrial revolution.
