because the fear of nationwide riots made anything but a full guilty verdict impossible and everybody knows this

leading politicians and even the president influenced it as well by publicly stating that he is "praying" for a guilty verdict

definitely a fair trial when the head of state publicly wants you in jail

and thats not me saying chauvin doesnt deserve it

That’s a legal system problem not a George Floyd problem.

It’s unrealistic to find a 100% unbiased jury, however there is a jury selection process for a reason.

What alternative do you suggest? Let Chauvin go free?

Other than that I'm not interested in this topic because I understand this is a political trial and the cop was basically convicted already which I have stated long before this trial as you know

So two repeat offenders get what they deserved is your stance? Or only one should have gotten what they deserved while the other repeat offender shouldnt?

Clarification: If Floyd had not been a repeat offender he'd not been arrested that day and he'd be perfectly fine.

I know you're fishing for "Floyd was innocent, the white cop was the criminal" but that's not the case.

Did the cops mess up? Yes they did. They should've loaded the dude into a van and away. Why didn't they? Don't ask me I'm not them.

That mess up cause a death, which he was found guilty of. There’s a reason it wasnt first degree murder.

I don’t see how the prior illegal activity of George Floyd somehow excuses what happened or gives it any sort of justification.

look at other first world countries, they dont pick up people from the streets to put somebody in jail

of course chauvin cant go free, but its funny how we get the "he didnt get a fair and unbiased trial", when the public pressure is super high, all the time, but not for this guy

black lives matter protesters and other supporters openly celebrate forcing this verdict
