Handing out the $10million arbitrarily is worse than investing that money in a school, job program or housing project.

The only reason this even exists is because a large proportion of the population is reenacting a collective delusion.

The problems within the black community go much farther than money alone.

The black vote is shifting to the right. In 10-15 years, the black vote will be a swing vote, not a democrat voting bloc as it currently is. The only reason the democrats are pushing this now (and the only reason for BLM) is to try to stem the tide for 1-2 election cycles.

that it goes towards home repairs and/or down payments is nice too. a $25k check handed out to most Americans is going to be spent recklessly. this helps families build equity in something that can create more wealth to pass down
