Why's that?
I'm not against having enforcers of a law, just as long as that law encompass the spirit of the law or is fair.
However the law is being used as a way to control any and or all behaviors that deviate from the norm.

This is problematic when the norm is problematic.
Perhaps w/ the exception of a sheriff, the departments are funded by tax dollars yet come after the taxpayers with speeding tickets and meaningless fines/tickets to stay fat
