OP's argument should have been to point out that these relativists inevitably fall back into objective lines of thinking, even as they idealize subjective lines of thought.

Adherents to radical secularism, anti-christians, and other critics of those who claim that objective moral truth is innate and not relative, i.e. post-modernists, most trans-humanists, and neoliberals.

For example, christian texts say that sleeping with a member of the same sex is a crime against God and nature. Now most wouldn’t argue that one should be punished for doing it. In the same way, one wouldn’t necessarily be punished for lying or violating any other commandment, unless it’s also a crime according to government laws. However, the mere belief that it is a sin is considered homophobic, and thus evil, by a group of moral relativists. There are many other examples as well.

You're not being judged for thinking there is objective morality. You're being judged for having a homophobic belief.

God never said that the world would be a good place.

He only gave us a way to live where we could find happiness.

My premise was in part that objective truth/morality is the same as the greater good of all individuals which comprise the overall collective. As such, acting in the interest of the greater good must parallel objective truth, or it’s a deception, in that it’s not actually in the interest of the individuals that comprise the collective. So, sincere (?) relativists that actually want to help people should fall back into ‘objective lines of thinking.’

Everyone is a moral relativist. To suggest otherwise is to believe that your moral convictions that you hold today would be the exact same that you would have have held if you had grown up in the early 1800s.
