There's both a perceived independence threat from outside groups or individuals looking in and a familiarity threat.

That would be the auditor answer.

Pardoned? Absolutely not. A scam is a scam. Lock/tag is the appropriate response if he fails to meet his deadline.

If he wants the lock and tag removed at that point, there's a process he will have to follow.

Why would they apologize?

They did their Job, got enough to Get Trump impeached.

One more for the road so sane people can laugh at Trumpism one last time.

Glad Antifa took over the riot and actually got work done. Repubs probably wouldn't have even broken into the Capitol if it wasn't for Antifa, the real Patriots.
