Agreed. The most productive people are saddled with educational debt and paid very little while the pencil pushers can sometimes get billions of dollars. Jessie Ventura recently did an interview where he talked about working on a jack hammer making barely above minimum wage yet it was the hardest job of his life.

We welcome you to the revolution comrad

Pay off your debt and you're fine instead of crying about it all the time, lol

You don't have the spine dude, just like so many others these days. Problematic/chronic debt is one of the diseases that popped up when people started to have such easy lives.

At least 10000 jobs will be lost directly related to the pipeline. The support infrastructure is probably closer to 30000.

The price of oil changes based on where you dig for it. One reason why middle eastern oil is cheaper is because you dont have stupid Karens complaining and creating regulations stymying safe fracking in Saudi Arabia. Canadian oil is cheaper obviously if right now we are shipping it here from Canadia.

1. You said a MILLION.
2. How are we shipping oil from HERE TO Can, when the pipeline goes from CAN to the Gulf?

this article is a R leaning disaster.. They don't even react with your numbers.

The Canadian source of the oil is more expensive because it is tar sands oil which requires far more work to access.

We could remove all environmental regulations and it would still be more expensive.

There is no reason to frack in Saudi Arabia because they just don't need to. The Saudi oil is state-owned, so they don't have to worry themselves with making a profit. So it's far cheaper to drill for Saudi oil and doesn't need to make a profit to survive the short term.

there isn't' one valid fact in his "argument"..

Another wild deflection there, who would have thought.

If you'd been smarter you'd understood sucking the tits of capitalism that hard isn't a good idea because guess what -> now you must pay that loan back with a nice % of interest added.

Smarten up buddy ;)

Regulations in saudi arabia costs ~4$ per barrel

Closer to $30 in the USA

Not sure about Canada

Price is also a function of other things like numerical output

Either way this is obviously an inefficient price shock regardless you your usual dishonest cherry-picking and hair splitting
