Your anti-anti-Trump shtick is perplexing.

I'm fine with it because it removes him from running in the future

since when is asking for the bill anti anything but spending?

i dont like trump, am tickled pink he is on his way out, but wouldn't pay a literal dime to move it up 9 days.

it would be like paying for expedited shipping for my seeds for next year's garden, the ground is frozen.

If you don't think Trump can do anything damaging in the next 9 days, or if you think his actions outlined in the impeachment resolution deserve no response from Congress, I don't know what to tell you. This is basic accountability, and focusing on the miniscule extra taxpayer money that might get spent is a little(or a lot) absurd.

so what will he do? can i get a list so i can even see if i agree? not like what could he do, what will he do. in your opinion.

and is it a little? does congress generally run on cheap budgeting?

if its a million dollars, and destined to fail in senate, then its a waste of a million dollars. if its 5 dollars, then a footlong should have been bought instead.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/11/politics/house-articles-of-impeachment/index.html

The House has released it's resolution to impeach President Donald Trump. If the impeachment succeeds(as it likely will), he will be the first president in history to be impeached twice. It is unlikely that the Senate convicts him, and conviction is required in order to disqualify him from running again(I believe).

The vast majority of the right-wing will oppose this effort, because they would like to pretend the past 2 months didn't happen. But it did, and there needs to be accountability.

Even if he did direct the "attack" peaceful protest on public land isn't criminal.

"Accountability for thee, but not for me" should be the Democratic motto. It sounds like a colossal waste of time designed to score political points by the same people who have been celebrating violence for the past 9 months.

It would be good if Trump and his children never again run for political office, but that is already virtually assured.
