Imagine what kind of person you'd have to be to think a journalist risking their life to expose government crimes and being persecuted for it makes them a loser and you want them to rot.

The current president called for him to be executed. The Democratic candidate in 2016 called for essentially the same.

Maybe Trump will pardon him to trigger people who care about national security. But if he doesn't, my hope is Assange will die in an American prison.

Source? You're literally the first person I've ever seen make that claim.

The real irony is, when he published Chelsea Manning's trove, there was a lot of support for him. Yet now, long after Manning got a pardon, there are still those such as yourself who claim Assange should rot.

BTW, Assange isn't an American. He's an Australian. He's not beholden to US law.
