This is why I drive shitty old standard cars. Mobs feel bad for me.

Owner is probably happy for the easy insurance claim.

Why would someone be happy to have to make an insurance claim

Even when you're 100% not at fault it's a gigantic time therefore money waste

Not always, I made money on my 2001 Malibu that got hit and run (got license from camera), and then totaled on black ice. Got $1500 and then $3000 in claims. Spent $2800 for car.

I was mainly trying to poke fun at the BMW, those things are already vast money pits.

Depends on total insured assets. Our broker fills out all the forms for us to the extent that they can and just adds page jumps to the places we have to sign.

Like Plague also mentioned about fmv , we also insure well above actual replacement cost when it comes to buildings. The premium difference is trivial.
