Bob Jere dark head etc lol
Unsure why you'd bring me up. I've nothing to do with Jere. Though I've seen him in online lists over the last few weeks.
I did not vote for Trump, nor did I vote for Biden. When/if Congress confirms on the 6th, the legal process is done, the winner is clear. Short of something such as the insurrection act being applied, there's little else Trump can do beyond that point.
I'm not in the habit of believing things people tell me just because they say them. People said for thousands of years that the Earth was flat, the center of the universe, bathing was harmful, and any other number of completely idiotic things. The pressure to conform to these ideas, simply accept them, was so extreme that people would literally be executed via means such as beheading, hanging, burning alive and crucifixion if they would not publicly recant.
Use some of the self-reflection time granted by this federal holiday to ask yourself why you're in the "believe what I tell you to believe or else" mob. If, as you claim, you value the scientific method, questions regarding "common knowledge" should be encouraged. Even stupid questions.
There were certainly aspects of the 2020 election that're worthy of questioning. There are certainly aspects of the Covid-19 response that're worthy of questioning. When the only answers being provided boil down to "Shut up and do as you're told" the final question always boils down to, "Do you truly believe in the scientific method, or is 'SCIENCE!' just a buzz word you use in an attempt to gain power and wealth?"
